Working in collaboration with artists and chefs, this public program responded to the exhibition The Way We Eat. Combining historical treasures with dramatic contemporary artworks, The Way We Eat exhibition brought together works of art related to food – that ancient source of inspiration, pleasure and anxiety.

The Way We Eat programs included:

  • Seven parts sweetness, three parts tears, a canto- and mando- pop extravaganza by Rainbow Chan

  • The Way We Eat Together, dining experiences curated by celebrity chefs Adam Liaw and Kylie Kwong

  • The Long Lunch by Jamie Lewis in collaboration with Shahmen Suku and Lawan Meal Boxes

  • childrens’ lunch boxes by Jason Phu

  • workshops by Garry Trinh and Jayanto Tan
